SIMPSON, William Edward “Bill” – surrounded by his loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 in his 84th year.  Beloved husband of 59 years of marriage to Marlene Simpson (nee Pond) of Simcoe.  Loving father of Michele Hitchon (Ted Lindsay) of Bracebridge & Jeff Simpson (Kris) of Simcoe.  Cherished grandfather of Brydon (Laura), Trevor (Aniki), Alayna & Logan.  Proud great grandfather of Lennon, Asher, Kolbe, Taven, Reeve & Aislyn.  Predeceased by his parents, Jim & Pat Simpson and by his siblings Belva & Bob.  A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the Woodhouse United Church on Friday, March 8th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Bill are asked to consider the Woodhouse United Church or a charity of ones choice.  Donations may be made through the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. N.  Simcoe, ON  N3Y 3R3.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
