KARP, Ronald Evert “Ron” (1934 - 2019) - surrounded by his loving family at the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Saturday, February 9th, 2019 in his 85th year.  Beloved husband of Lynne Karp (nee Hodgins) of Simcoe.  Loving father & grandfather of Katherine Karp of Brantford, her children Tara Smith, Kayla Maisano (Leo), Timothy Smith & Dylan Dunlop;  Tammy Davies of Cambridge, her daughters Jessica & Rachel Davies; and Eric Karp (Shannon) of Cambridge, children Tyler, Tristan & Jackson.  Cherished great grandfather of Mia Maisano.  Ron will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Doris Karp of California, Cheryl Nichol of Belleville, John (Doris) of Las Vegas, Donald (Carol-Ann) of Kingston and Herman Karp of Waterford.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his parents, the late Evert & Gladys Karp and by his sister Betty Boyce.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Ron with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North, Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, February 13th, 2019 from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m.  A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.  Interment of ashes:  Port Dover Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in memory of Ron are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of Haldimand-Norfolk.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
