MACOVIK, William Arthur - it is with great sadness that the family of William Arthur Macovik announce his passing on Wednesday August 22nd, 2018 at the age of 65. Bill will be lovingly remembered and missed by his devoted wife of 41 years, Janice Macovik, and his cherished and loving daughter Alexandra Macovik. He was the dear brother of Sandy Macovik and Sindy Larsen. Bill had a distinguished career as a biology teacher and was a respected and accomplished high school athletics coach for many years. He had a passion for sports and coaching and dedicated much of his time to mentoring and coaching youth in the community. Bill's determination and strength to persevere through many years of health challenges demonstrated his true courage and strength of character. He never gave up. He will be missed by his many good friends, both on and off the golf course. He always appreciated their support and encouragement. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at the Greens of Renton on Sunday, September 30th, 2018 with reflections being shared at 2:00 p.m.  The family would appreciate donations made in his honour to the Norfolk General Hospital and the Arnold Anderson Sport Fund.
