ANDERSON, Glen William  1936 - 2018 – after a long courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family and promoted to the loving arms of his Lord & Savior, at his home on Tuesday, August 21st, 2018 in his 82nd year.  Beloved husband and best friend for 62 years to Irene Anderson (nee Stone) of Waterford.  Loving father of Gary (Sherry) of Hagersville, Gordon (Becky) of Hagersville, Craig (Brenda) of Waterford and Laurie McKenzie (Rick) of Port Dover.  Cherished grandfather & great grandfather of Mike (Susie), children Aurora & Lochlan;  Travis; Rob (Leah), daughter Livia;  Steven, son Derek;  Joe (Sarah), children Patience, Sylar & Raven;  Jeremy (Stephanie), children Porter & Rhya;  Jennifer Wiens (Aaron), children Macy & Mylee;  Stephanie Simpson (Kent) & Beverley Anthony (fiancé Alloyd).  Glen will sadly missed by his sister Marion Persall (late Charlie) of Scotland.  Glen will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his granddaughter Melissa (1983) and by his sister Shirley (1940).  Glen loved meeting new people.  His greatest joys was his family & the favorite days of his career were driving truck.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Glen with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North, Simcoe for visitation on Thursday, August 23rd, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  A funeral service will be held from Emmanuel Bible Church, 24 Churchill Circle, Simcoe on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Faulkner officiating.  Interment:  Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Glen are asked to consider Emmanuel Bible Church or the Cancer Support & Resource Program.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
