BENNETT, Barbara Irene (nee Smith) 1929 - 2018 – into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by her loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, April 12th, 2018 in her 90th year.  Beloved wife of 67+ years to Jim Bennett of Simcoe.  Cherished mother of Paul Bennett (Debbie), Mark Bennett; and Dave Bennett (Kimberley), all of Simcoe.  Loving grandmother & great grandmother of Scott Bennett (Kerri King), their children Jaxon, Hudson & Mason;  Holly Bennett-Gruener (Karl Gruener), children Evan & Keaton;  Grace Bennett, Ruth Bennett & Maridyn Bennett.  Predeceased by her siblings Doris Jones & William Horwood. Special thank you to Sherry Brown and the CCAC PSW’s whose support was greatly appreciated.  Barb’s home going service will be held at EMMANUEL BIBLE CHURCH, 24 Churchill Circle, Simcoe on Saturday, June 9th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Steve Faulkner will officiate.  A private family visitation & interment has already taken place.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Barb are asked to consider the Arthritis Society or Emmanuel Bible Church.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
