SMITH, B. “Joan” (nee McKone) 1930 - 2018 - surrounded by her loving family at her home on Sunday, March 18th, 2018 in her 88th year.  Beloved wife of Charles Smith of Green’s Corners.  Loving mother of Brad Forbeck (Jo ann) of Stratford and Derek Smith (Marnie), their son Jacob of Green’s Corners.  Cherished grandmother, great grandmother & great great grandmother of Tina Forbeck-Grasby (Bruce), children Danielle (her children Jayden & Tyson), Hannah & Jackson;  Chad Forbeck (Deb), children Courtney, Samantha (her son Harrison), Jacob, Jackson & Spencer. Joan will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Delores Crossan (Bob) of Kitchener and Gerald McKone (Lu) of Sarnia.  Predeceased by her sister Audrey Brownlee and by brothers; infant Bobby, Bruce, Ken, Donald, Keith and Len McKone.  Joan is also survived by several nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Joan with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Thursday, March 22nd, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Bible Church, 24 Churchill Circle on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Faulkner officiating.  Interment:  Walsh United Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Joan are asked to consider Emmanuel Bible Church.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
