Death Notices

VAN  HOUTTE, Donna Marie (nee Durant) – passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, March 1st, 2018 in her 76th year.  Donna was born & raised in Norfolk County and lived here her entire life.  She was a long time employee of the former Calbeck’s grocer, (recently Sobey’s).  Donna is lovingly remembered by her sister Pat MacPhee of Brantford.  Donna was a huge animal lover and will be sadly missed by her much loved cat “Sandy”.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Donna are asked to consider Purrfect Companions of Norfolk.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
