WESTBROOK, Janet Enid Marie (nee Lefler) – surrounded by her loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Tuesday, November 14th, 2017 in her 86th year.  Beloved wife of 63+ years to Leslie Westbrook of Simcoe.  Janet was born August 8th, 1932 at Dundurn Farm, home of her grandparents.  She is the daughter of the late Blake & Enid Lefler.  Loving mother of Richard Westbrook (Cindy) and Debbie VanHooren (Marcel), all of Waterford.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of Krystal Neidrauer (Josh), their children Karina & Mason;  Andrew Westbrook (Liz Johnston);  Kyle VanHooren & Shanaya VanHooren.  Janet will be sadly missed by her siblings Norma Jean Tisdale (Jed) of Simcoe, Cameron Lefler (Shirley) of Wilsonville and David Malcolm Lefler (Joanne) of Windsor.  Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her sister Eva Cox.  For 55+ years, Janet & Les owned and operated Westbrook Electric in downtown Simcoe and on Hwy#3 until their retirement in 2011.  Together they enjoyed boating and travelling.  Janet was also a member of the Simcoe Kinettes.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Janet with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Monday, November 20th, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.  Janet’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m.  Private interment of ashes:  Oakland Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Janet are asked to consider the Diabetes Association or the Cancer Support & Resource Program.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
