MISENER, Joseph Robert “Joe” (1938 - 2017) – surrounded by his loving family at the Stedman Hospice, Brantford on Monday, June 12th, 2017 in his 79th year.  Beloved husband of Linda Misener (nee Donaldson) of Port Dover.  Loving father & grandfather of Kimberly Marshall (Gerry) of Caledon, children Sarah, Jessica, Julia, Shane & Theresa;  Kevin Misener (Charlene) of Toronto;  Kathy Chan (Andrew) of Coquitlam, B.C., their daughter Natasha;  Cara Antonissen (Darren) of Delhi, daughters Lexi & Katie;  and Phil Misener of Fredericton, N.B., his daughter Ryleigh.  Dear brother of Louise Podrebarac (George) of Waterloo.  Joe will be lovingly remembered by Linda’s mother, Joyce Donaldson and by her brothers Jack Donaldson (Marg) and Rick Donaldson (Susan).  Joe will be remembered as a “Special” son-in-law to Elva Broker; brother-in-law to Les & Lena Broker, Patti Powless, Dawn & Randy Booker, and Gerald & Dianne Broker.  Predeceased by his parents, the late Gordon (2001) & Vera (2007) Misener and by his sister Patricia Baker (2004).  Joe’s true passion was the love of playing his harmonica.  He was a lifetime member of the Vittoria Masonic Lodge and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Joe with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, June 16th, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Joe’s funeral service will be held from Grace United Church, 18 Chapman St. W. Port Dover on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. with Rev.
