McCARTY, Brenda Joy (nee Hagel) 1955 - 2017 – surrounded by her loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, February 9th, 2017 in her 62nd year.  Cherished mother & grandmother of John McCarty (Stacey) of London, children Natalie & James;  and William McCarty of Toronto.  Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her sister Karen Hagel of Hamilton.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Brenda with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Sunday, February 12th, 2017 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. A private family interment of ashes will be held in Hamilton at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Brenda are asked to consider the Cancer Support & Resource Program.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
