PATTEN, Donald Gordon – suddenly at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Tuesday, January 31st, 2017 in his 71st year.  Beloved husband of Sandra Patten (nee McFarlen) of Simcoe.  Loving father & grandfather of Tracy Johnston (Tom), children Cassandra & Kelsey;  and Tammy Patten, children Destinee Carpenter (Josh) & Zachary Carpenter, all of Simcoe.  Cherished great grandfather of Joshlyn Singer.  Lovingly remembered by his brother Larry Patten of Simcoe.  Predeceased by his brothers Bill (1984) & Dave (2011).  Friends are invited to share their memories of Don with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m.  Don’s funeral service will follow visitation in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
