Death Notices

KRESS, Silva (nee Kalam) 1921 - 2106 – surrounded by her loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, December 14th, 2016 in her 96th year.  Predeceased by her beloved husband Arnold Kress (2005).  Cherished mother of Lysa Kress (Gord Silverthorn) of Delhi, her children Alexander (Alina) & Karl (Amber).  Silva will be lovingly remembered by her extended family in Estonia.  A private spring interment of ashes will be held at Prospect Cemetery, Toronto.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Silva are asked to consider the Salvation Army or the Simcoe & District Humane Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
