WHITMAN, William “Bill” Herbert – passed away at the Parkview Meadows Retirement Home on Sunday, October 23rd, 2016 in his 92nd year.  Beloved husband of the late M. Frances (nee Silver) Whitman. (March 20th, 2016).  Loving father & grandfather of David Whitman (Darlene) of Port Dover, children Matthew, Ashley Whitman & Jennifer Bell;  and Lee Whitman (late Brigita) of Orillia, son Chris.  All service will remain private with casket interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. N.
