YIN, Susan (nee Lum) 1928 - 2016 – passed away at the Dover Cliffs Long Term Care on Monday, October 17th, 2016 in her 89th year.  Beloved wife of the late Hoy Yin (2012).  Cherished mother and grandmother of Jim Yin of Simcoe, his children Diane, Saffron (Matt), George & Vivien;  Mary Yin (Joe Xu) of Toronto, children Bliss (Adam) & Adriana;  Judy McKenzie (Kevin) of Simcoe, their children Kasey (Adam) & Shane;  Wendy McIntosh (Duncan) of Burlington and Richard Yin of Brantford.  Loving great grandmother of Kayli, Mak & Charlie.  Susan will be lovingly remembered by her sister Shiu King Chiu of Toronto.  Sadly missed by nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by her brother Lam Yee Poon (Ping Mui).  Susan & Hoy were pioneers in helping sponsor many people to come to Canada from Taishan, China.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Susan with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, October 19th, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  Susan’s funeral service will follow in the chapel on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Interment:  Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Susan are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of H-N or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
