FERREIRA, Maria “Irene” (nee Duarte)  1942 - 2015 - surrounded by her loving family at the Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga on Sunday, May 10th, 2015 the day of her 73rd birthday.  Cherished wife of Joaquim Ferreira of Simcoe.  Loving mother & grandmother of Gina Gallippi (Mario) of Milton, children Nuno Jr., Jessica & Victoria;  Gil Ferreira (Rachel) of Brantford, children Lillian & Noah;  Anita Cabral (Eddie) of Milton, children Emily & Olivia;  and Nelson Ferreira of Simcoe.  Dear sister of Teresa Duarte, Manuel Duarte (Emilia) & Joaquim Duarte (Joelle), all of Portugal.  Predeceased by several sibling in Portugal.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Irene with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, May 13th, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Parish prayers will be said Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m.  Irene’s funeral mass will be held from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 211 Union St., Simcoe (corner of Union St. & Queen St.) on Thursday morning at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Fr.
