Marion SINDEN

SINDEN, Marion Jean (nee Hall)  1927 - 2015 - passed away at the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Tuesday, March 10th, 2015 in her 88th year.  Beloved wife of the late Ronald Sinden (1984).  Loving mother of Cathy Suprun (Tony) of Port Dover, Ron Sinden (Stephanie) of Simcoe & Nancy Lester (Larry) of Tillsonburg.  Cherished Nana and Great Nana of Dr. Shawn Suprun (Becky), their children Natalie, Maeve & Ryan;  Aron Suprun (Amy), their children Elodie & Sienna;  Jamie Suprun (Rebecca), their children Alex & Claire;  Jeff Sinden (Allison Clarke), their daughters Kate & Elizabeth;  Julie El Kerri (Mohssine), their daughter Safia;  Rebecca Lester (Joe Bitz);  Mandi Size (Jeff), their children Zaira & Oliver.  Marion will be lovingly remembered by her special friend Cliff Whitehead of Delhi and by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her siblings June Moore, Ann Flagel, Robert, William & Bud Hall.  Marion was born in Aylmer, Ontario to William & Bessie Hall.  Her family nicknamed her “Ducky”.  Marion was known as “Nana” to many in the Simcoe & Port Dover community, by young and old alike.  Marion’s purpose in life was her devotion to her husband, her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.  Even though her mind was diminished by Alzheimer’s disease, she was always smiling when with her family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Marion with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Monday, April 6th, 2015 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.  A memorial service will be held in the chapel Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lola Mather-Dyer officiating.  Private interment of ashes:  Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Marion are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of H-N or the MS Society (Nancy Lester Walk).  Our family would like to thank the Alzheimer’s Societies of Simcoe and Tillsonburg for their guidance and support along our journey.  Our family is very thankful for the wonderful care and compassion our mother received during her stays at both Cedarwood Gardens & Cedarwood Village.  Our mother was unconditional in her love for her family.  We have been so blessed to have her in our lives.  Although she will be missed, her love will remain with us forever.  “A mother’s hug lasts long after she lets go.”  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
