VAN DEN DRIESSCHE, George Joseph Remie (1928 - 2015) – surrounded by his loving family at the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, Simcoe on Tuesday, February 17th, 2015 in his 87th year.  Beloved husband of 64+ years to Helene Van Den Driessche of Simcoe.  Cherished father and grandfather of Ethel Janssens (Benoit) of Tillsonburg, their children Jeremy (Jennifer) & Stephanie Janssens;  Veronica Byer (Robert) of Simcoe, their daughter Melissa Byer (Jonathan McNall);  and Ann-Marie Murden (Michael) of Barrie.  Lovingly remembered by his sister Mary Lou Van Bruwaene of Aylmer and by many nieces, nephews & extended family in Belgium.  Friends are invited to share their memories of George with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe on Saturday, February 21st, 2015 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel following visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr.
