SIMOES, Manuel Goncalves (1945 - 2014) - surrounded by his loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Sunday, September 7th, 2014 in his 70th year.  Cherished husband of Belmira Simoes (nee Antonio) of Simcoe.  Loving father of Laurence Simoes of Caledonia.  Dear brother of Pompeu Simoes (Jackie) and Maria Carvalho (Adelino), all of Simcoe.  Manuel will be lovingly remembered by Belmira’s family, her siblings Maria Benelde, Jose Antonio and John Conceicao.  Manuel will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Manuel with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Tuesday, September 9th, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Parish prayers will be said Tuesday evening at 8:00 p.m.  Manuel’s funeral mass will be held from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, corner of Queen St. & Union St., Simcoe on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr.
