EWING, Donald Ray (1921 - 2014) – passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, March 15th, 2014 in his 94th year.  Beloved husband of the late Myrtle (nee Church) Ewing (2007).  Dearly loved father of Lloyd Ewing (Bonnie) of Dunnville;  Marie McMillan of Port Dover;  Marilyn Butler (late John – 2011) of Port Dover;  and Gerald Ewing (2010), his wife Phyllis of Port Dover.  Lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Don will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Kathleen Lock of Thamesford, Ruth Church of Jarvis & Jack Ewing (Inga) of Scarborough.  Predeceased by siblings Dorothy Farren & Alex Ewing.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Don with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Tuesday, March 18th, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Don’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Cheryl Fitch officiating.  Interment:  Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.  Memorial donations payable to the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
