JOHNSON, Jack – surrounded by his loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Friday, January 22nd, 2010 in his 79th year.  Beloved husband of the late Georgina Johnson (nee Feere – 2001).  Loving father & grandfather of the late Mark Johnson (2009), his children Cassandra & Tristan;  Brian Johnson and his wife JoAndes of Simcoe;  Dwayne Johnson of Hamilton, his children Tyler & Litten;  and Darlene Johnson and her husband Chris Pankhurst of Simcoe.  Lovingly remembered by his siblings Lorraine Rendle, Flora Stead (Sam), Eilene Watts, Winnifred Carmichael (John), Leona Taylor, Herb Johnson (Ginny) & Don Johnson (Ellen).  Jack is also survived by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his sister Gail Stewart and by brothers Wilf & Ross Johnson.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Jack with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 for visitation on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 from 7-9 p.m.  Jack’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Interment of Ashes: Walsh United Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in Jack’s memory are asked to consider the Liver Foundation.  The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the 3rd floor nurses of NGH for their care and compassion during Jack’s final days.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
