Death Notices

LYNE, Thomas Albert “Tom” (1955-2022) - passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 in his 67th year.  Cherished husband of Heather Halyk of Simcoe.  Loving father of Buffy Lyne (Jody) of St. Williams and Blue Lyne (Heather) of Simcoe.  Step-father of Korey Kendrick.  Tom will be lovingly remembered by Heather’s children Michelle Wight (Derrick) of Simcoe, children Taylor, Harding & Bailey;  Jenny Halyk of Hamilton, son Izaha;  and Richard Wight (Ashley) of Simcoe, daughter Ella.  Tom will be sadly missed by his sister Patricia D’Hondt (John) of Simcoe and the late Ruth Campbell (2018).  Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews and extended family.  Private arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North  Simcoe N3Y 3R3.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Tom are asked to consider the Cancer Support & Resource Program.  Please mail donations to the funeral home.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
