PRICE, William Melbourne Francis “Bill” (1932 - 2019) – surrounded by his loving family at the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Saturday, June 15th, 2019 in his 87th year.  Beloved husband of Elizabeth Price (nee Locke) of Simcoe.  Loving father of Brenda Assel (late Larry) of Vittoria and Cheryl Oliver (Dave) of Port Dover.  Cherished grandfather & great grandfather of Stephen Assel (Vanessa), their son Finn;  David Assel;  and Chayse & Denton Oliver.  Bill will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his sisters Jean Dickie (late Joe) and Joan Gentle (late Sam).  Bill was a past president of the Norfolk General Hospital – Board of Directors & Foundation;  the CAA of Elgin-Norfolk;  the intermediate Chiefs Hockey Club; and the Simcoe & District Chamber of Commerce as well as serving as secretary & treasurer for many years.  He was a proud United Empire Loyalist and enjoyed interest in genealogy.  A private family funeral will be held at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. N.
