SMITH, Douglas Albert  (1927-2018) – surrounded by his loving family at the Delhi Long Term Care Home on Thursday, October 11th, 2018 in his 91st year.  Beloved husband of Myrtle Smith (nee Voigt) of Delhi.  Loving father of Linda Kerry (Harold) of Delhi and Mark Smith (Rose) of Simcoe.  Cherished grandfather & great grandfather of Scott Kerry (Angie), children Brandon & Brooke;  Teresa Kerry (Paul);  the late Lisa Kerry (2011);  Steven Smith (Cheryl), children Tiffany, Austin & Courtney;  and Lori Silverthorne (Mike), children Dominique, Memphis & Larkin.  Doug will sadly missed by his brothers Ken Smith (Joanne) of Vittoria and Clair Smith (Gertrude) of Simcoe.  Doug will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his sisters Helen Hare, Pauline Saracuse and Lela Cherwaty.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Doug with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North, Simcoe for visitation on Sunday, October 14th, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
