HOPE, Spencer  With sadness we announce the passing of Spencer Hope at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, ON, Monday, August the 27th, 2018 in his 85th year. He was survived by Beverley Hope of Brantford. Dear friend of Christine Bell of Kingston.  Spencer was a loving father to Nyal Hope (Belinda) of Aurora and Todd Hope (Sue) of Delhi.  Dear grandfather to Devon, Kyra, Todd Jr., Brent and Rita.  Dear brother of Terry Hope (Late Gail) and Verne Hope (Linda) both of Peterborough.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews from Ontario and British Columbia.  We would like to thank all the staff and nurses at the Rosewood Senior Home and the Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe for taking such good care of Spencer over the last several months.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North, Simcoe is entrusted with arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Spencer are asked to consider University Hospitals Kingston Foundation or The Boys and Girls Club of Kingston.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199.
