BROUGHTON, Wilfred (1916 - 2018) – promoted to the loving arms of his Lord & Saviour at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 12th, 2018 in his 103rd year.  Beloved husband of the late Edna Broughton (2004).  Loving father of Doreen Roberts (late Art) of Simcoe, Donna Schriver (Maynard) of Barry’s Bay, Dave Broughton (Wanda) of Simcoe, Ken Broughton (Linda) of Bancroft, Betty Lamoureux (Francois) of Brantford and Ron Broughton (Joy) of Waterford.  Proud grandfather to many grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren.  Wilf will be lovingly remembered by his brother Leroy Broughton (Jean) of Waterford.  Predeceased by his brother Leross (2004).  Friends are invited to share their memories of Wilf with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Thursday, June 14th, 2018 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.  Wilf’s home going service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 4059 Hwy #3 East  Simcoe on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Carl Morgan officiating.  Interment:  Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Wilf are asked to consider Faith Baptist Church, Pembroke or Bethel Baptist Church, Simcoe.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
