MORGENSTEIN, Gertrude (nee Surth) – surrounded by her loving family at the Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Thursday, May 31st, 2018 in her 85th year.  Beloved wife of the late Siegmund (2010).  Mother to Peter Morgan (Alanna) of Peterborough; grandmother to Tess Morgan (Eugene Golovanevskey).  Sadly missed by her siblings Manni, Lisbeth & Rosemary, all of Germany.  Predeceased by her sister Christa (2017).  Gertrude will be lovingly remembered by her special nieces Melissa & Tina and by many other extended family in Germany.  Dearly missed by Siegmund’s brother, Garshon (Peggy) of Virginia.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Gertrude with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North, Simcoe for visitation on Tuesday, June 5th, 2018 from 11:00 – 12:00 noon.  A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 12:00 noon.
