D’HONDT, Barbara Lynn (nee Puddicomb) 1949 - 2018 - surrounded by her loving family at the Sakura House Hospice, Woodstock on Friday, May 25th, 2018 in her 70th year.  Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank (2010).  Loving mother & grandmother of Greg Vermeersch (Christy Pettinger) of Tillsonburg, children Blake, Riley, Linden, Kennedy & Zachary;  Derek Vermeersch (Karen Russell) of Courtland, children Ryan, Reed & Rayden;  and the late Bradley Vermeersch (2004), his daughter Alayna.  Barb will be fondly remembered by Frank’s children, Michelle D’Hondt-Talbot (Jimmy) of Wasaga Beach and Melissa Loverde (Giorgio) of California, children Michael & Marcel.  Barb will be sadly missed by her siblings Elaine Reimer (Jake), Carol Pieters (Jerry), Laurie Heirwegh (Mike), all of Simcoe, Jim Puddicomb (Bonnie) of St. Thomas and Fred Puddicomb of Tillsonburg.  Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and by her special family Pat & Bob Elliott.  Predeceased by her parents, the late Clarence (2003) & Mildred (2010) Puddicomb.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Barb with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Monday, May 28th, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Barb’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
