LOCKE, Shirley Ann (nee Harding) 1934 - 2018 – formerly of Nova Scotia, more recently Simcoe;  surrounded by her loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Sunday, April 1st, 2018 in her 84th year.  Beloved wife of Perry Locke of Simcoe.  Cherished mother of Chris Locke (Carmen) of Lynnville, and adored Nana to Grace & Brady.  Predeceased by her brother the late Derek Harding, and his wife Betty of England, their sons Steven & Neil.  Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her special friends Dianne & Wayne DeYoung, Connie Wilton and by Carmen’s parents, Clarence & Janet Smith.  Special thanks to the staff & friends at Rosewood Senior Living for all their love & care.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Shirley with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Thursday, April 5th, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  Personal family reflections will be shared at 7:00 p.m.  A celebration of Shirley's life will be held in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia later this spring.  Private family interment of ashes to be held at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Shirley are asked to consider Purrfect Companions Cat Rescue or the Simcoe & District Humane Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
