Death Notices

BLACK, Agnes Campbell “Nancy” (nee Johnstone) 1929-2018 – surrounded by her loving family at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, February 17th, 2018 in her 89th year.  Predeceased by her beloved husband, the late Robert Black (2007).  Loving mother of Dianne Bird (David) of Waterdown, Bob Privett (Nancy) of St. Catharines and Cindy Westbrook (Rick) of Waterford.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother Jason (Sarah), children Case & Asher;  Carrie-Ann (Rick), children Evan & Toby;  Rachel (Aaron);  Cal;  Krystal (Josh), children Karina & Mason;  and Andrew (Liz).  Sadly missed by her brother Robert Johnstone (Sheila) of Simcoe and by her sister-in-law Francis Johnstone of Hamilton.  Nancy will be lovingly remembered by Robert’s family, his children Robert Black (Dale) of Binbrook, Irene Dietrich and Karen McMaster, both of Hamilton.  Predeceased by her brothers Jack & George Johnstone.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Nancy with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation only on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A private interment of ashes will be held in Hamilton at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Nancy are asked to consider the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
