WHITEHEAD, Annie Kezia (nee Hammond) -  surrounded by her loving family at the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Friday, February 16th, 2018 in her 98th year.  Predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas Whitehead (1996).  Cherished mother of Carol Whitehead of Simcoe, Janet Whitehead of Simcoe and Maureen Sawaya (Mel) of Waterford.  Loving grandmother & great grandmother of Lara Sawaya-Norman (David), their children Blake & Samira;  Nadia Sawaya-Fehr (Thomas), their son Jude;  and Thomas Sawaya.  Predeceased by her siblings Lucy Hammond & William Hammond.  Annie will be lovingly remembered by family in England.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Annie with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Sunday, February 18th, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. and again on Monday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.  Annie’s funeral service will follow visitation in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. with Chaplain Erna Greenfield & Pastor Steve Faulkner officiating.  Private interment of ashes at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Annie are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
