KLASSEN, Erich - promoted to the loving arms of his Lord & Saviour;  suddenly on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 in his 70th year.  Beloved husband of Irene Klassen of Simcoe.  Cherished son of Anna Klassen (late Frank) of St. Catharines.  Loving father of Phil and Allen Klassen, both of Simcoe.  Erich will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Helmut (Mary Ann) of Fort Erie and Rudi (Myrna) of Manitoba and by several nieces, nephews & extended family.  Erich was a long time member of Evergreen Heights Christian Fellowship serving in every aspect of church life.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Erich with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Sunday, October 29th, 2017 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.  Erich’s home going service will be held from Evergreen Heights Christian Fellowship, 140 Oak St. Simcoe on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeff MacLeod officiating.  Private interment of ashes:  Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Erich are asked to consider Camp Crossroads or the Evergreen Heights Christian Fellowship.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
