Frances WOOLLEY

WOOLLEY, Frances Louise (nee Sullivan) 1919 - 2017 – surrounded by her loving family at the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Sunday, September 24th, 2017 in her 98th year.  Reunited in heaven with her husband Daniel (1994), her oldest son Robert (2014) as well as her parents, the late Arthur and Helen Sullivan and younger siblings Arthur, Fred, Frank, Albert and Kaye.  Frances will be fondly missed by her children Betty Smith (Norris) of Simcoe; daughter-in-law Jean Woolley of Port Dover;  Dorothy McKinnon of Whitby;  Diane Whitside (Bruce) of Port Rowan; and Brian Woolley (Laura) of Kitchener.  Frances will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren & great grandchildren: Lorry Macaulay (Dan);  sons Duncan & Dean;  Terry Gibson (Margie); daughters Jessica (Kyle) & Andrea (Adam);  Barry McKinnon (Anne Marie), children Rebecca & Cameron (fiancée Abbey);  James (Amy);  Hillary (Greg), son Callen; Justin (Kelly);  Brennan (Kelsey); Madison; Halle and by Norris’ family:  Todd (Kathy); Michelle; Taylor; A.J. and Quinn.  Frances also leaves behind her sister-in-law Doris Sullivan and several nieces, nephews, many of whom will have fond memories of summer vacations on the farm.  Frances spent her life dedicated to her family and in service to others.  She was an honourary elder of Woodhouse United Church, and received lifetime membership pins for the Woodhouse U.C.W. and the Woodhouse Women’s Institute after serving in all officer positions in both organizations.  Frances was also a member of the Norview Auxiliary, serving on its executive and working diligently on its many projects over the years.  Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Frances at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Tuesday, September 26th, 2017 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  A funeral service to celebrate Frances’s life will be held at the Woodhouse United Church, 2164 Highway 24 South, Simcoe on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
