MATTHEWS, Norman Harwood – surrounded by his loving family at the Grand River Hospital - Freeport Campus Kitchener in his 95th year.  Cherished husband of Evelyn Matthews (nee Biggs) of Kitchener.  Loving father of the late David Matthews (2016), Susan Matthews, Robert Matthews, Jill Egan and proud grandfather to six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  Norman served under Bomber Command with the R.C.A.F. and R.A.F. during W.W.II.  In 1948, Norman graduated from Queens University in civil Engineering and later became President and C.E.O. of Industrial Projects LTD.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in memory of Norm are asked to consider a charity of ones choice.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. N.  Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel (519) 426-0199
