Death Notices

PELLS, Dorothy Mary (nee Wortman)  1922 - 2017, born in Surrey England, passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 in her 95th year.  Predeceased by her first husband Raymond Emerson (1968), and second husband Harold Pells (1996), and his son Hal Pells Jr (Gail) in 2013.  Fondly remembered by siblings Lynda Pells-Wallace and Debbie Pells-Sculnick. Also predeceased by her brother David Vincent Wortman (1921) and sister, Betty Gash (1996).  Lovingly remembered by her special nieces Mary Misner-Winter of Simcoe and Susan LaBone (Guy) of Simcoe.  Dorothy will be sadly missed by her great nieces & nephews and their families.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Dorothy with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, June 7th, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 211 Union St. Simcoe on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr.
