VAN GRONINGEN, Jason William Patrick (1973-2017) – suddenly at his home in Waterford on Sunday, May 28th, 2017 in his 45th year.  Loving companion of Natasha Kliewer of Waterford.  Cherished father of Chloe, Owen & Cameron, their mother Jennifer Schooley (Chris).  Adored son of Peach "Lois" Crowley of Simcoe and Bill VanGroningen (Dianne Burns) of Kentucky.  Beloved brother to Joanne “Jo” VanGroningen (Luke) of Cambridge and January VanGroningen (late Colum) of Ireland.  Uncle to Arlo, Emma & Mia.  Jason will be sadly missed by his little buddy Myles and by many extended family and friends.  Predeceased by his infant sister Carrie (1978).  Friends are invited to share their memories of Jason with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Thursday, June 1st, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 211 Union St. Simcoe on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr.
