BEDARD, Linda Victoria (nee Drake) 1948 - 2017 – surrounded by her loving family at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, April 26th, 2017 in her 69th year.  Cherished wife of Michael Bedard of Simcoe.  Loving mother & grandmother of Angela Chambers (Derek) of Simcoe, their children Hayden, Avery & Braidy;  Laura Lenos (Shawn) of Waterford, their children Tyrell & Bailey;  Timothy Bedard of Simcoe;  and Joanne Barr (Dave) of Black Creek, B.C., their children Emmitt, Sadie & Sawyer.  Linda will be lovingly remembered by her sister Maureen Gignac (Peter) of Port Rowan and by several nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her parents, the late Harold & Thelma Drake and by her sister Heather Hudson.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Linda with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Sunday, April 30th, 2017 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.  A private interment of ashes will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe at a later date.  In honouring Linda’s memory, those wishing to donate are asked to consider the Brantford General Hospital – Stroke Unit.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
