DICKSON, Charles Francis “Charlie” 1941 - 2017 – promoted to the loving arms of Jesus, surrounded by family at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, April 5th, 2017 in his 76th year.  Cherished husband of Gayle Dickson (nee van Trigt) of Simcoe.  Loving father & grandfather of Mary-Anne Dickson of Barrie, her children Charley & Sophia;  and Henry Dickson (Becky) of Sarnia, their children Paige & Zach.  Charlie will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Paula Chouet (Bernard) of California, Mick Dickson (Sandy) of England and by several nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Charlie with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, April 7th, 2017 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.  Charlie’s home going service will be held from Evergreen Heights Christian Fellowship, 140 Oak St. Simcoe on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeff MacLeod officiating.  Spring interment of ashes:  Gore Cemetery, Clanbrassil.  In honouring Charlie’s memory, those wishing to donate are asked to consider Evergreen Heights Christian Fellowship.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
