CHANDA, Frances “Lorraine” (nee Pattison) – passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, March 15th, 2017 in her 100th year.  Beloved wife of the late Henry Chanda (1987).  Loving mother of Larry Chanda (Judy) of Simcoe, Charles Chanda (Lynda) of Langton, Jeannette Beselaere (Rick) of Windsor, and the late William Chanda (1966).  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of Robert (Simone), daughter Marjorie;  Debra Chanda;  Chris (Patti), children Ethan, Ryan, Will & Evlyn;  Lori Adams (Steve), children Iris & Jaime;  Terri Chanda and Devin Beselaere.  Lorraine will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her parents, the late Francis & Sarah Patterson and by siblings Gladys Barber (Lewis) & Ross Patterson.  Lorraine was a member of the local Women’s Institute;  she enjoyed swimming, bowling, gardening, travelling, doing crossword puzzles and kept a daily diary on everyday occurrences.  All services will remain private with a spring interment of ashes at Delhi Cemetery.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Lorraine are asked to consider the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
