Death Notices

BAKER, Wilma Jean (nee Fewster) 1929 - 2017 – passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 in her 88th year.  Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Baker (1994).  Predeceased by her parents, the late William & Eliza Fewster;  and by sisters Gladys Pratt (2013) & Maryll Bowman (1997).  Wilma will be lovingly remembered by her nieces Linda Taylor, Marcy Deller & Tracy Lagoda (Jeff) and by her special friends Julianne & Gerard Lessard.  A private family visitation was held at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe on Tuesday, March 7th, 2017.  Casket burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  In honouring Wilma’s memory, those wishing to donate are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
