BENKO, Elsie Marie (nee De Witte) 1930 - 2017 – surrounded by her loving family at the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Sunday, February 5th, 2017 in her 87th year.  Cherished wife of Fred Benko of Dundas, formerly Simcoe.  Loving mother & grandmother of Brian Benko of Dundas, his daughters Alexandra & Emma;  and Mark Benko of London, his sons Jacob & Gavin.  Elsie will be lovingly remembered by her sister Shirley Benko (late George) of Brantford and by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Elsie will be sadly missed by her daughters-in-law Jill Charbonneau & Sherry Benko.  Predeceased by her sister Rose De Witte.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Elsie with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Sunday, February 12th, 2017 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and again on Monday morning from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.  A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 211 Union St. Simcoe following visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr.
