Death Notices

VANDERZWAN, Pieter – passed away at the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Saturday, October 15th, 2016 in his 89th year.  Beloved husband of the late Eva Vanderzwan (nee Klaui - 2010).  Cherished father of Louise McCune (Kevin) of Waterford and Yvonne Dudley (Tom) of Blairmore, Alberta.  Loving grandfather & great grandfather of Colin McCune (Michelle);  Megan Reeve (Robbie), their daughter Mya;  Danielle Spicknell (Darren), their children Eleanor & Myles;  and Chad Dudley (Heather).  Pieter will by lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews in Canada and by his extended family in the Netherlands.  Predeceased by his parents, the late Johannes & Catharina Vanderzwan.  A private family interment of ashes will be held at a later date.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Pieter are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of H-N.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
