DOERKSEN, Mary (nee Voth) – surrounded by her family, and promoted to the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, July 21st, 2016 in her 90th year.  Beloved wife of Aaron “Butch” Doerksen for 67 years.  Loving mother of Ed Doerksen of Simcoe, John Doerksen of Simcoe and Barbara Shantz (Steven) of Cary, North Carolina.  Dear grandmother of Melanie Wilson (Tim), Clint Doerksen (Andrew Phillips), Joshua Doerksen (Leslie), Christina Doerksen, Aaron Shantz (Shelley) and Jasmine Chandra (Terence).  Cherished great grandma to Griffen, Clem and Samuel.  Mary will be sadly missed by her sisters Velda Johnston, Helen Brown, Lydia Reimer (Jake), Jessie Tyrrell;  by sisters-in-law Ella Kendall, Marie Doerksen;  by her brother-in-law Abe Doerksen (Helen) and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by siblings Edward Voth and Alice Smith.  Mary was a proud member of the Bethel Baptist Church for over 70 years.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Mary with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Monday, July 25th, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9  p.m.  A funeral service will be held from BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH, 4059 Hwy#3 East, Simcoe on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Philip Clayton and Pastor Al Feere officiating.  Private Interment:  Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in memory of Mary are asked to consider Project Hannah of Trans World Radio Canada.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
