MATTHEWS, Janice Berva “Jan” (nee Buckborough) 1959-2015  – surrounded by her loving family at her home on Saturday, November 7th, 2015 in her 57th year.  Beloved wife of Scott Matthews of Windham Centre.  Cherished mother of Todd Matthews of Waterford and Cari-Jane Gordon (Steve) of Windham Centre.  Loving nana to  Aiden, Janelle, Marley & Ryland.  Predeceased by her mother Lois (nee Schooley) Buckborough (2001).  Loving daughter of Keith Buckborough of Simcoe.  Jan will be lovingly remembered by her sister Bonnie Anderson (Grant) of Waterford and by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Jan with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, November 11th, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Jan’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Shelley Howard officiating.  Private interment of ashes:  Windham Centre Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Jan are asked to consider Camp Trillium – Rainbow Lake, the Norfolk General Hospital or the Cancer Support & Resource Program.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
