NELSON, Pauline (nee Rice) 1931-2015 - surrounded by her loving family at the Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Monday, August 24th, 2015 in her 84th year.  Cherished wife of Gerald Nelson of Simcoe.  Loving mother and grandmother of Grant Nelson (Cheryl) of Simcoe, their children Alyssa, Jenelle & Brendhan.  Pauline will be lovingly remembered by her sister Linda Urquhart (Al Richard) of Hamilton and by several nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by her parents, the late Cecil & Lena Rice and by her brother Harold Rice & brother-in-law Charlie Urquhart.  Pauline was a long time employee of Canada-Westinghouse in Hamilton where she and Gerald met 59+ years ago.  Together, Gerald & Pauline owned and operated the Tim Horton’s on the Queensway in Simcoe and James St., Delhi for many years.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Pauline with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. N. Simcoe for visitation on Thursday, August 27th, 2015 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday morning from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m.  Pauline’s funeral service will be held in the chapel following visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Interment:  Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in memory of Pauline are asked to consider the Simcoe & District Humane Society or the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
